Wow, great job of defending Kos' remarks by only citing the innocuous part and not the part to which "the women's studies set" objected!

Nobody's questioning the part you quoted. What incited a lot of people was his dismissiveness toward Kathy Sierra, not towards the so-called code of conduct.


That has a great deal to do with the fact that I've yet to discover that part to which the women's studies set objected. I read the entire posting, and I saw in it nothing misogynistic, nothing belittling toward women, and nothing to suggest that he didn't think Kathy Sierra had a right to be worried--just that he didn't think a bloggers' code of ethics would do a damned thing about it. If you'd care to provide a quotation, I'd be happy to comment on it. But I'm not going to play the "You know what I mean" game.
