As another blogging friend reminded me, since the year is winding down it's probably a good time to post the "Where I Slept" results for 2009:
- Home (most of the year)
- Chicago, Illinois (three separate occasions: February, for the 2009 annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science; June, for the start of my summer vacation; and October, for a friend's wedding)
- Edwardsville, Illinois (February, for a work-related conference)
- Clarksville, Tennessee (on the way to my dad's 70th birthday party)
- Decatur, Alabama (for my dad's 70th birthday party)
- Hayward, Wisconsin (June/July, on my summer vacation)
- Peosta, Iowa (on two occasions: July, during my summer vacation; and again in October for a mini-retreat)
- Springfield, Illinois (July, on my summer vacation)
- Pingree Grove, Illinois (July, on my summer vacation)
- Livonia, Michigan (July, on a long weekend getaway)
- Washington, DC (August, for the fall meeting of the Grants Resource Center)
- Galena, Illinois (October, on a mini-vacation after a very big proposal deadline)
- Poplar Grove, Illinois (December, for a weekend visit with an old college friend)
